A spirited group gathered along Columbia Center Boulevard for our PROTEST: SPEAK UP! community action. The U.S. Postal Service has proposed new requirements for ballot mail used in federal general, special, and runoff elections. Under the proposal, election officials would be required to submit information through a new USPS portal for voters receiving mail ballots. This would include each voter’s name and address, along with unique barcodes for the outbound and return ballot envelopes. USPS would review outbound ballot mail before accepting it.
