Hey Tri-Cities! 📣 We're teaming up with our local unions for the Tri-Cities Union Labor Day Picnic, and we need volunteers. Local labor organizations have put on this picnic every year since 2012. It's free, it's open to everybody, and it's a great excuse to spend Labor Day with your neighbors. Here’s a pretty amazing example of what science can do. On Wednesday, August 12, a total solar eclipse will cross parts of Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, Spain, and Portugal. We won’t be able to see it from Washington State, but we can still watch it happen. NASA’s live coverage begins at 10:15 a.m. Pacific time.
