Know Your Constitution: The Fifteenth Amendment
This week, we are looking at the Fifteenth Amendment.
It says that U.S. citizens cannot be kept from voting because of their race, color, or because they were once enslaved.
It also says that Congress has the power to make laws to help protect this right.
